This is the AC Schnitzer-tuned BMW 5-series based on the 530d diesel model, and even though they insist it is “Dynamics in its most beautiful form”, there’s no getting away from the fact that it’s really ugly! The standard 5-Series F10 is fine, but that front bumper is rubbish and at the back they made it look like a Lexus. So as far styling matters, it’s not a job well done. Maybe other parts are better…

Of course the 530d gets a power boost, from 245 HP to 286 HP, and they are developing similar kits for other diesel-powered 5ers. They also provide a twin sports rear silencer with chromed “Sports Trim” tailpipes which can be fitted to 550i, 535i, 535d and 530d and enhances the engine response as well as its soundtrack.

The car also gets AC Schnitzer spring kit (25 mm lower than standard), AC Schnitzer 8-piston high performance brake system, 19 or 20-inch Type IV wheels in BiColor or silver.

Interior modificaitons include aluminium cover for the i-Drive System Controller, aluminium foot rests and pedals set, and gear knobs in leather, aluminium (black anodized), with leather and illumination or digital gear display. Boot and foot mats in velours complete the interior package.
