MEC Design released yet another fine-tuned Mercedes, this time based on the C63 AMG. We really like MEC Mercs because they don’t mess with the car’s design and use just the right amount of extra parts to make it more interesting without ruining it. For this C63 Steam Hammer they have provided a discrete body kit which enhances the car’s aerodynamics.

It is made of carbon fiber and includes front spoiler lip, air Intakes on sides of front bumper, rear Spoiler and sport/Racing Diffusor. It is actually a good job they improved aerodynamics, becasue this is no ordinary C63, and it needs those refinements to remain in check!

The standard C63 AMG has a growling 6.3 liter V8 developing nearly 490 hp. But MEC somehow managed to find an extra 113 hp in there, and turned this four-door saloon into a real monster capable of 600 hp and  700 Nm.

That’s achieved by using MEC Design Stainless steel exhaust system from headers with Sport/Racing Catalytic Converters, plus some electronic optimization and sports air filters. They also provide a V-MAX unit so you can go way faster than the standard 250 km/h!

As for the wheels and tires, MEC offers mecxtremeIII one piece, 9×20 all around with 3mm spacers front + 7mm spacers rear, 235/30 ZR 20, for better looks and handling.

The interior of the car is also upgraded with sports steering wheel, seat shell, door parts + middle console parts and seat covers.
