We knew that Kia’s lineup for 2010 SEMA show, as always, contains a bunch of customized Souls which we are not interested in. But when they released the official details of their SEMA plan, there was something really good in it. It’s the Forte Koup Type R Concept, which is tarted up hot version of the lovely Forte Koup.
OK so they call it a concept now, but sooner or later it will become available as a special edition. The car is developed by Kinetic Motorsports and showcases potentials of the Koup for upgrade. The Type R features a nice body kit enhancing its sporty style, including the front fenders, rocker panels and rear quarter panels.
It comes with BBS RG 18-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels and racing-inspired tires and suspension components and also gets modified interior with items like custom seat/door treatments and safety restraints reflect its sporty nature. A short throw shift kit with Kinetic gear shift knob and carbon inlay complements the dampened composite fiber disc clutch to enhance the driving experience.
