Overfinch is one of the most prestigious tuners in the world specializing in Range Rover. They’ve been making highly exclusive versions of the RR since 1975, with the latest being the Holland & Holland edition based on the 2010 model, the only car in the world with guns and drinks cabinet at the back! But they’ve been dealing with some serious financial troubles during the last 18 months, which finally made them go bust.
They are not going to shut down the whole business of course, but they are looking for interested buyers. Overfinch has 15 distributors in different countries including North America, Africa and Asia. Given the company’s glorious history and reputation as a luxury brand, it shouldn’t be hard for them to find a new owner. It would be great if they expand the business under the new ownership as well.
Roger Hutton of legal firm Clarion, that is acting as adviser to the administrators, commented: “Given Overfinch’s position as a world leader in its field and with its valuable intellectual property rights, we are confident that the business will be sold within the next few weeks, securing the future of its 20 staff.”
