These days Nissan likes to show-off the 3-seconds acceleration time of the 2011 GT-R, boasting its magnificent performance. But Hennessey Performance has come up with a new package for 2010 model, which blows the new one out of the water! The GTR800 package with 813-hp and 704 lb-ft torque goes from zero to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds.
The is Bugatti Veyron territory. The thing is, the 2011 GT-R does it in 3 seconds (alright! 2.9 seconds) in its standard factory form and you can probably do that all day without any sort of glitch. But the Hennessey car is deeply modified and as it’s the case with such cars the clutch would let go after a couple of tries, or in worst case scenario, the whole thing may burst into flames as we’ve seen with this poor 800-hp Mustang!
Hennessey also offers a 622-hp version and a range of performance parts such as carbon aero pack, KW suspension, special wheels and so on.
