We’ve been fortunate enough to catch the first glimpse of the new generation 2012 Mercedes SLK through a leaked promotional video. And here we can take a better look at thanks to this leaked patent drawings. These pictures reveal the shape of the new SLK completely, proving that it’s a mixture of SL and SLS features in a smaller scale!
You can’t really judge a car’s design based on patent drawings, but the new SLK appears to have become very macho and aggressive at front, probably to scare off all the hairdressers and footballers wives in order to gain a cooler reputation. It’ll also packed with new features, chief among which the special panoramic roof called MAGIC SKY CONTROL, which at the touch of a button gets either dark or transparent.
The car’s official debut was set at the upcoming NAIAS, but apparently it is delayed until the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
