Cadillas had told us that they’re working on a racing car based on the CTS-V Coupe in order to return to SCCA with. But we only had a few sketches of Cadillac’s new racing machine. Until now, as they released official pictures of the CTS-V racer and it remind us of old BTCC cars!

Now what we want to know is the technical details of this car, which Cadillac is yet to reveal. The standard CTS-V features a 552 hp supercharged V8, the racing version should have around 600. Cadillac will field two teams in the upcoming SCCA World Challenge GT Class with a racecar based on the CTS-V Coupe. Andy Pilgrim and  Johnny O’Connell also signed as Cadillac drivers.
