Those of you with good memories probably remember that Carlsson was the first tuner to announce a kit for the new generation Mercedes CLS. It took them a while to make it, but it’s finally here.

And it will makes its premiere at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and then will become available for you to order. They currently have offers for CLS 350 CDI and the CLS63 AMG.

There is a styling kit that suits the CLS very well and consists of an RS front spoiler, a trunk lid wing and a new rear diffuser with two oval tailpipes on each sides of it. they’ve also provided mesh grilles at the front which is a nice touch.

Complementing the body kit is the new set of sporty rims. Here you have different choices in terms of design and size – including the new Carlsson-Design 1/10 20-inches – all of them are very advanced technologically for best performance and lightest possible weight. For the suspension, Carlsson tweaks the AIRMATIC system with their C-Tronic components that lowers the car by 30mm.

Now let’s talk about the sweet subject of performance! The diesel powered CLS 350 CDI has been given a boost from 265 PS (195 kW) to 320 PS (235 kW) and the torque is jumped from 650 to 780 Newtonmeter as well. That means the 0 to 100 km/h sprint time is reduced from 6,2 to 5,9 seconds. Euro 5 standard is fully covered by this engine. As for the CLS63 AMG, Carlsson managed to raise the power of the new 5.5 Bi-turbo V8 from around 520 PS to 600 PS (441 kW).

Of course Carlsson could not let the car go without a nice interior treatment that includes lots of leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber or wood trims depending on the will of customers.
