Hyundai released this single image of the Veloster Rally Car, as a teaser ahead of its debut at the Chicago Auto Show. We’re still not sure if it’s a Super 2000, or is built for WRC or is it a car for America Rally or X Games.

Whatever it is, it means Hyundai is going to create a well-founded motorsport career. That would help gaining some reputation for their new sportier models. Maybe the next Genesis coupe also becomes a racer. It’s already being used for various Time Attack and drift series, but it can become a fully fledged rally racer or a track car.

More details on the Veloster Rally Car are yet to be announced.
