Nissan Tiida, or whatever it’s called where you live, is a very popular affordable hatchback, so many people were looking forward to its new model. Well, here it is!

The facelifted Tiida unveiled at the 2011 Auto Shanghai has got a revamped designed to become more sporty and appeal to younger buyers. Not sure why it reminds us of Hyundai i30, maybe that’s the roofline and the C-pillar!

Besides the new grilles and lamps and body lines, the new Tiida is also enhanced inside the cabin where it’s been always praised for its space and practicality. In the new model the wheelbase length has been increased by 100mm to ensure best-in-class rear knee room so it’s even better in that matter They’ve also used a ‘Calm & Refined’ kind of design for the cabin with highlights like floating center cluster, and wide, super-soft armrests, the car provides premium space offering comfortable feeling in driving.

2012 Tiida is powered by Nissan HR16DE engine which benefits from turbocharger and dual injectors for maximum efficiency and is mated to an Xtronic CVT with an auxiliary transmission. That is of course for the Chinese market, the car will sure have different specs in other parts of the world.
