Here’s what happens when the Chinese company Geely stops copying others and starts using their own imagination! Meet the Geely Gleagle GS and CC, sportier versions of the IG.
Well, they’re not brilliant, but they’re fine for a company like Geely. It has the sort of design that makes small children go WOW but don’t think for minute it’s a sporty little car because apparently it’s powered by a dismal 1.3 liter 130 PS four-banger. The GS was revealed last year at the Auto Shanghai event, and this year it’ll be accompanied by the CC cabrio version.
Save that hideous front grille that will hypnotize you if you stare at it for more than 5 seconds, the rest of the car seems like a lot of cheap and cheerful fun. It reminds us of the Daihatsu Copen somehow! We are particularly fond of the interior, which seems to be copied from Alfa Romeo.
