The old Mercedes tuner Kicherer picked the 2011 Mercedes CLS 500 for their latest project and turned it into the ‘Edition Black’.
That name refers to the matte black exterior, complemented by lacked-out grilles, and RS-1 20-inch wheels also in black. The new carbon fiber parts such as mirror casings and the front grille also contribute to the car’s killer styling.
The rel beauty of this car however lies under the bonnet. Kicherer’s upgrade program for the V8 engine in the CLS 500 includes a remapped ECU and some sport exhausts. But that’s enough for an increase of 62 PS and 90 Nm in the output. You now get 470 PS and 690 Nm of torque, not just as much as a CLS63, but enough to make your hair stand up!
Kicherer has also installed a high performance braking system on the car with 6 and 4 piston calipers front and rear.
