We are huge fans of Prior Design Mercedes SL widebody kits. So we are mighty glad they made a new one, this time based on the SL Black Series, and called the BLACK EDITION.

The conversion kit to turn a Mercedes SL R230 to a PD Black include front bumper, rear bumper, front fenders, front bonnet, side skirts, rear widenings, rear diffusor, rear trunk spoiler, front lip spoiler and replacement windshield water tank.

The end result though, is better than the original Black Series, mainly because unlike the Black the roof in this car still folds away nicely!

Mercedes SL is one of the few cars that even the craziest wide body kits look good on it and won’t turn it into an idiotic boy racer kind of thing. One other factor contributing to this car’s awesome looks are the massive rims with concave design at the back. They have suited the overall design very well indeed.
