Carlsson also revealed their version of Mercedes CLS63 AMG today, probably to steal Brabus Rocket‘s thunder!

While the CK63 is hugely powerful with 649 hp and over 900 Nm of torque, it is still a few hundred horses behind the Rocket. But visually, we think Carlsson has done a better job than Brabus. That said, the shape of Brabus body kit is mostly dictated by aerodynamics.

Carlsson’s car look better because it is pretty much the same as the standard car. it just gets a front spoiler lip and a tail spoiler. What set is it apart is the 20-inch Carlsson-Design 1/10 wheels. They have also modified the suspension with their own C-tronic module which drops the ride height by 30mm.

Carlsson CK63 makes 100 km/h from stand still in 4.1 seconds which is 0.2 of a second faster than the standard, but nearly half a second slower than the Rocket. It surely is not as fast as the 370 km/h Rocket, but then it certainly won’t cost anything like that car (430,000 euro!).
