Ultimate Factories this time visits BMW X-Series factory in South Carolina to reveal their production secrets and also look at the process of building the new X3, which used to be built in Austria before becoming a full American model.

BMW’s American plant has been given a thorough upgrade in 2010, hired over 1,000 new workers, and updated the latest equipments in preparation for produciton of new models. Did you know BMW makes more than 1,000 X3 and X5 Sports Activity Vehicles and X6 Sports Activity Coupes in one day? The X3 accounts for 450 of them. That’s astonishing and shows how popular are BMW SUVs.
