We too are having a hard time pronouncing this tuner’s name. But that doesn’t matter, because they’ve done a good job with the Wiesmann MF5.

The Wiesmann has the classic recipe of a true sports car. It’s two-seater roadster with a big engine, manual gearbox and rear-wheel-drive. It’s fantastic. What SchwabenFolia has done here is add a bit of joie de vivre to the mix.

They took the MF5 V10 model and fiddled with that BMW engine to increase the power from 560 to 600 hp. They did it by installing new high performance exhausts and air intake systems. As a result the car now reaches 100 km/h for standing still within 3.5 seconds.

The visual treatment is also interesting. They wrapped the car in matte black film and because of that called it the Black Bat, and bolted 20-inch black wheels on it.

Apart from the name which sounds a bit cheesy, it’s a job well done.
