Volvo UK announced availability and pricing for the Inscription edition of its four-seater convertible C70 in the country.

Limited to 2000 units worldwide, the Inscription C70 is available to order from mid-November with first deliveries in February 2012. The car has special features on inside and out that set it apart from the rest of the range.

On the outside the Inscription is distinguished with high-gloss paint on the grille and the LED Daytime Running Lights, both surrounded by contrasting chrome and 18-inch wheels. Inside the cabin you get exclusive leather-covered dashboard with contrasting stitching, and Sovereign Hide upholstery in Off Black or Calcite with the same contrasting stitching as on the dashboard, handbrake lever and carpets.

What’s more, the Inscription logo is embroidered on the front headrests and is also found on the carpets and handbrake lever. Steering wheel and gear shift knob are garnished with aluminium inlays, while Black or Nordic Light Oak are available instead of aluminum for the ultra-slick center stack.

In UK the car can be had with both five-cylinder 2.0-litre diesel engines, D4 (177 hp/400 Nm) and D3 (150 hp/350 Nm), and in three colours: Black Stone (Solid), Black Sapphire (Metallic) and Ice White (Solid).

The Volvo C70 Inscription will debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show that opens on November 16th. U pricing starts at £33,855 on the road for the D3 SE.
