A.Kahn had said before they were going to name their cars after districts of London. So here’s the new Range Rover Dorchester Edition.
The Dorchester RR is based on a 3.6 Range Rover Vogue 2012 model, and as far as we can work out, it is one of the coolest tuned RRs ever.
The car features Kahn’s familiar Cosworth styling package inside and out, with newly designed front and rear bumper, Kahn stainless steel quad exhaust system, side skirts, brake callipers finished in heat resistant red paint, billet steering wheel, machined aluminium pedals, bespoke door handles, Kahn mats, front and rear park assist, heated front seats, rear entertainment system, welcome ambient illumination package.
One very nice feature of the interior is the a Dorchester buttoned seat upholstery with the finest perforated and quilted leather, if you like this sort of things!
Kahn has been sensible with the choice of engine and picked the 3.8 liter TDV8 Range Rover, tweaked y Cosworth. The diesel engine is to be honest the best choice for the Vogue, seeing as it’s much lighter on fuel than the petrol units, has enough power to get out of its own way without any trouble, and it also sounds better than the petrol engines.
As always, there’ a set of 22” Kahn RS alloy wheels finished in matt pearl grey.
