It’s highly unlikely that you are already bored with your new BMW M5. But if you are, PP-Performance has just the kit to liven things up a bit.
They do that using the magic of electronics. By refining the M5’s 4.4 liter V8’s ECU, PP manages to extract another 60 horses, driving the power output from the standard 560hp and 680 Nm of torque, to 620hp and 750 Nm.
That won’t have that big an effect on the car’s performance, it’ll probably shave a few tenths of a second off its 0 to 100km/h sprint time. But then it’s those tenth of seconds that are crucial in a drag race.
The 620hp kit is the stage I of German tuner’s program for the M5F10, and it’s priced at a very reasonable 3,499 euros. They do have a stage II in the works with… God knows how much horsepower.
