Hyundai has come up with a rather brilliant commercial for the Sonata Hybrid reflecting the car’s beauty of design and environmental benefits, all at the same time.
What they did is feature some fluffy animals going WOW by the sight of the Korean hybrid car. They like it because it’s cool looking, and seeing as it does 40mpg, it doesn’t harm the environment too much.
FIY, Hyundai’s Hybrid Blue Drive is a proprietary parallel hybrid drive system that runs on the already fuel-efficient 2.4-liter Theta II engine (169 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 156 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 30kW (151 lb-ft) electric motor for maximum fuel economy. Hyundai’s Hybrid Blue Drive has an all-electric mode and a parallel drive mode.
Visually, it’s distinguished over the normal models with unique front grille, available 17-inch alloy wheels and headlights with LED accents, fog lights, LED tail lights and side mirror turn-signal indicators, Blue Drive badges, and a raked roofline which gives it better aerodynamics.
