Earlier today we showed you teasers of AC Schnitzer ACS5, based on the new BMW M5. Now here it is in full glory.
We have to say the body kit is not as nice as we were expecting it to be, but hey, the matte blue paint job is very cool.
The M5 gets a carbon front spoiler lip, some dental work in form of a steel grille, new side vents, and a revised rear aprons with a diffuser and trapezoidal tailpipes, as well as a boot-lid spoiler.
The roof, and part of the bonnet are finished in matte grey, which we think is wrong, as is the ACS5 Sport lettering on the sides. The wheels on this Geneva Motor Show car are Type VII 21-inchers, but there is a wide range of rims to choose from. The car also has its ride height lowered by 25mm.
AC Schnitzer has done a very good job tuning the M5’s 4.4 liter V8 though. They managed to extract an extra 60hp out of that engine, so it now develops 620hp and a peaktorque of 790Nm. That translates to a 0-100 sprint of 4.1 seconds.
It’s a pretty mean machine, this M5. Check out the pictures:
