Audi expands its range of e-tron concept cars by making this version of the A6. This is the first luxury-class e-tron car with a powerful powertrain and every amenities you find in a normal executive saloon. The car is based on the long wheelbase A6 – Audi’s bestselling model in China – produced at Changchun plant.

Audi A6 L e-tron’s hybrid system consists of a  2.0 TFSI that outputs 155 kW (211 hp) and an electric motor with 70 kW (95 hp) peak power. That’s the sort of power you get from a full-fat V6 engine. But this one enables you to enjoy up to 80 km (49.71 miles) of electric emission-free driving at a constant speed of 60 km/h (37.28 mph).

The e-tron A6 has a slightly different design than the  normal A6. On the outside it features a grille with horizontal bars, and almost covered air intakes like all e-tron models. It also gets unique 21-inch wheels in e-tron design and the special rear diffuser. It’s alright for a hybrid car.

It’s very clever and sophisticated too. The car is made from a blend of aluminum and carbon fiber, so it’s fairly light – about 15 percent less than a comparable all-steel design – yet very rigid ans stiff. Speaking of clever stuff, A6 e-tron also has an electronic transverse differential lock – a function of electronic stabilization control (ESC).
