Here’s another Dragon-inspired car at this year’s Beijing Auto Show. To mark the launch of the new Q3 in the Chinese market, Audi came up with two concept cars. One if the RS Q3 concept we told you about earlier, and one is this, the Jinlong Yufeng. That is Chinese for “Golden Dragon in the Wind.” This one’s designed for outdoor fun.

The Q3 JY is finished in Liuli Yellow which is a luminous monochrome color, and features add-on body parts at front, sides and rear finished in matt quartz. Flared arches, steel side steps, unique radiator grille and two kiteboards made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer mounted on the roof are the other features of the exterior.

The interior is designed to match the exterior, with plenty of black, gray and yellow. The roofliner consists of titanium gray Alcantara; many of the interior surfaces are black in color. The instrument panel is upholstered in black Fine Nappa leather and is decorated with yellow contrasting seams. You get woven and velvet leather on the seats and aluminum accents on the dashboard, as well as steel decorative inlays and gloss black trims.

Engine-wise, this dragon Q gets the 228 kW (310 hp) 2.5 liter five-cylinder TFSI unit, which enables it to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.5 seconds and eventually do 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The car rides on 8.5 J x 20 wheels with 255/45 off-road tires.
