Audi TT RS Plus is a hardened, more powerful version of the RS built as a send-off for the current generation TT. Here are the headlines: TT RS Plus is powered by the same 2.5 liter 5-cylinder turbocharged engine, but offers 265 kW (360 hp) and 465 Nm (342.97 lb-ft) of torque. It does 0 to 100km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 280km/h (173.98 mph).
Now, the price tag. The UK-spec Audi TT RS will be available to order from early May for summer delivery, priced from £48,945. That’s for the manual coupe. The most expensive version is the S-tronic roadster which costs £52,265. That means the Plus has a £3,085 premium over TT RS.
Visually, the TT RS Plus comes with 19-inch five-arm “Rotor” design titanium-look alloy wheels, single frame radiator grille with its matt aluminium surround and polished anthracite diamond-pattern mesh, carbon mirrors, and black oval tailpipe trims linked to the standard sport exhausts. The car also comes as standard with satellite navigation, Bluetooth phone preparation and Audi Music Interface iPod connection, all of which form part of the normally optional Technology Package.
