Nuccio concept is a car Stile Bertone designed and built in honor of Nuccio Bertone, son of Giovanni Bertone and the man who made the company famous, and the brand’s 100th anniversary. Now turns out they are going to sell Nuccio’s homage – for a rather significant amount of money it has to be said – to a Chinese car collector. The price they are negotiating is 2 million euros.
Fair enough. They can always make Nuccio another tribute car and there are other ways to celebrate an anniversary, but it’s not everyday someone knocks on the door and offer two million for one of your concept cars that would eventually end up in a museum somewhere gathering dust.
The concept was first shown as a full-scale model in Geneva, and then turned into a working prototype for Beijing. Even if they complete the sale, it will be showed to the public one last time at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance before going to the customer.
