Nissan has revealed their lineup for the 44th Tokyo Motor Show, to be held at the end of this month, and it is an interesting one at least as far concept cars are concerned. They are bringing along three cars definitely worth seeing: Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, Nissan Gripz Concept, and a weird new thing called Teatro for Dayz.
You are probably familiar with the Nissan Vision Gran Turismo concept 2020 which is said to be how the next GT-R will look like. It will be nice to see this beast in the flesh at the Tokyo Motor Show in this sexy red color.
Nissan Gripz Concept should also be a familiar sight, since saw it at IAA a few weeks ago. This sporty crossover concept blends the ability and practicality of a compact crossover with the excitement and performance of a sports car, and has a PureDrive EV hybrid powertrain.
Another interesting Nissan concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show will be the Teatro for Dayz (that’s the car’s real name). The name is drawn from the Italian word for theater and a Nissan minicar and it is apparently about shared experiences. We’re going to need more intel on this one.
Other noteworthy member of Nissan’s 20-strong Tokyo lineup include the X-Trail Hybrid Mode Premier and Juke 16GT Four Personalization models; and special-feature models, including the Skyline 350GT Hybrid Type-SP Cool Exclusive, Fuga 370GT Type-S Cool Exclusive and Serena Highway Star V Selection.
