Land Rover’s 25th anniversary celebratory special editions also include two new editions of the Range Rover Sport. The Red and Luxury Range Rovers will make their debuts at the New York Motor Show today, each offering styling details and upgraded equipment over normal models, to add more choice and personalisation to one of the most dynamic SUV.
The Range Rover Sport HSE Red comes in Firenze Red, Orkney Grey, Fuji White and Santorini Black. It also features a black grille garnished with Noble bezel and black surround. Bonnet badges and tailgate finisher are in Atlas Silver and the rear ‘SPORT’ badge is finished in Salsa Red. Further Red touches are to be found on the fender vents, where a bright red logo bar set against a Santorini Black grille and finished by an Atlas Silver surround.
These versions come with 20-inch alloy wheels, and four colors of Pimento Red, Cirrus, Lunar Grey or Ebony with contrasting stitching fro the seats, which also have the Sport logo embossed on the headrest and this is picked up on the floor mats where the logo is embroidered in red to match the striking exterior badge colours.
The Luxury Edition RR Sport’s features include unique 20 inch five spoke alloy wheels, extended leather pack, heated steering wheel, contrasting stitching and the outstanding Harmon/Kardon® LOGIC 7® Surround Sound system with 17 speakers delivering 825 watts.
On the contrary to the posh exterior, Range Rover has been sensible with the choice of engine and based both edition on the 255hp 3.0 SDV6 diesel engine. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Both the Range Rover Sport HSE Red and Luxury will go on sale in the UK from June 2012 with prices starting from £58,020.
