Female motoring writers from 12 countries, who form the jury of Women’s World Car of the Year, announced their 2012 winners. They have four categories including family, luxury, sports, and economy cars, and one supreme winner which is their actual car of the year. And, well, as the picture above suggests, it’s the Range Rover Evoque. Men picked the Volkswagen up! as theirs a few weeks ago.

You have to say, women know better! Men journalists of course named the Evoque the best design of the year.

It’s hardly surprising why women chose the baby Rangie as the car of the year, when you realize the design consultant for this car for was Victoria Beckham. Thanks to her the Evoque is a car that appeals to both species, maybe a bit more to the female one.

And it was a girl – and a royalty no less – who bought the very first Evoque, so, you get the picture.
