HMS Tuning is a fan of big horsepower numbers. They have already proved that with a 720-hp Mercedes SLS. Now they got hold of a Mercedes C63, and well, they went berserk yet again. They devised an upgrade program for the Merc’s 470-hp 6.2 liter V8 and offer three stages of boost with 625, 640 and finally 690 horsepower.
The list of modifications they apply on the engine is pretty long, but to mention some of the most important, there’s a big supercharger, modified air intakes, high-performance cooling system, sport air filters, new headers, an ECU software to manage all this and also remove the top speed limiter.
Looks-wise, the c63 gets a mean back treatment with black grilles, wheels, and lights. As you can see in the pictures, there’s also a body kit with bigger air intakes and inlays, side skirts, spoiler lip and rear diffuser.
As for the wheels and tires, you get Jade R HMS-Edition 9-inchers with 255/35 rubber up front and 285/30 at the back. The set is complemented by KW Clubsport coilovers and uprated brakes.
A complete stage three treatment will cost you about 30,000 euros, give or take.
