Here we have your Chris Harris fix for this week, and joy of joys, he’s driving the mad Mercedes G63 AMG. It is amazing to think that Germans – known for being sensible and have lots of common sense – went ahead and made a car that doesn’t make any sense at all! I mean, the G63 is a military car with an ancient chassis, big wheels with low profile tires, luxury interior, and a 544hp bi-turbo V8 engine. It is completely bonkers… but it is fantastic. Utterly, utterly fantastic.

He’s right, you know. Just because you don’t need a 544hp SUV, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have one. There are many pointless things in life that we don’t really need, but we want, quite badly!
