Damon Hill, former Formula 1 World Champion in 1996 with Williams, will be back to the racing tracks, but this time only to participate in the Volkswagen Scirocco R-cup, a competition that’s more or less the “warm-up” for the following DTM championship and that will take place at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, England.

Damon hasn’t been racing since 1999, but will now in this race have the chance to meet some friends and familiar names, such as David Brabham, Mark Blundell, Perry McCarthy, Martin Donnelly and Julian Bailey.

The race is scheduled for the 18 and 19 of May and the profits will be partially donated to charity, in this case “Halow’s Hill”, whose owner is Damon Hill himself.
