Maybe it’s big love of cars, or may he’s just bored, but Jerry Seinfeld is reportedly working on a new TV show, a docu-series tentatively titled “Comics and Cars.” The theme is like Top Gear’s “star in a reasonably priced car,” only the whole show is about the stars – mainly comics – and their car-related expiriences. And the cars are probably all classics.
The show is not yet in production phase – it is one of Jerry’s personal projects, a laboratory experiment – but sources are already mentioning names like Alec Baldwin, Ricky Gervais and Seifeld‘s own Larry David. The guest apparently test drive cars from their past while being funny, sharing memories with the viewers, cracking jokes.
The show would have a huge chance of becoming a hit. After all, it is celebrities and humor that made Top Gear so popular, and Seinfeld’s show has them both. Plus everything Seinfeld does is a hit. His most recent car-related TV activity was the super successful Acura NSX SuperBowl ad.
