Evo Magazine sends its new Contributing Editor Jethro Bovingdon out for a rather easy but hugely exciting job. His job is to take the new Nissan GTR Track Pack to a De-restricted Autobahn in Germany and attempt to reach its theoretical top speed of 196 mph or 315 km/h. And he gets awfully close to that, clocking 314 km/h. So, enough reason to justify the Track Pack’s £84,450 price tag?
If it’s the top speed you want, you don’t have to buy the Track Pack. You can save yourself 10 grand and buy a standard GTR. The Track Pack is of any use for those who want to use the GTR as a track toy, as it comes with stiffened suspension, different wheels, and racing seats.
