A couple of days ago Nissan confirmed production of the Juke-R concept for an strictly limited run. The car will be built-to-order, and already they have three orders in the bag. They didn’t talk about the price however, until now. According to a report by Reuters, Nissan Juke-R is priced around $590,000! So, this or a Pagani Zonda C12?
The Juke-R is an awesome car. It’s a small crossover fitted with the big engine of the GTR; a 3.8 liter bi-turbo V6 developing around 550 hp. It was initially built based on the 2010 GTR divetrain with 480 hp, but the production versions get the 2012MY system.
So yes, it’s an amazing car. But $590,000? That sounds a bit stupid, even for people who spend that kind of money on parties. What you get for you 600 grand is – at the end of the day – a Nissan… Juke. You have to be clinically insane to even consider it.
The first orders for the Juke-R have reportedly come from Dubai. Some Americans might also be interested in this concept, but we doubt it they ever receive an order from Europe.
