You may remember back in February Nissan announced a Facebook campaign in which they’re asking the fans to tell them how would they tune a Nissan 370Z to create the ultimate track car. Looks like they did receive some responds, as they got a 370Z down the garage and started the work. Nissan prides itself in creating the first crowd-sourced car.
The Z fans have some pretty cool ideas, it seems. The first stage is boosting the power, and they asked for no less than 500 hp. The car also receives a much needed Ti-C catback exhaust system, so its mediocre engine note can be transformed. Being a track car this 370 is also getting a set of KW Variant 3 coilovers.
There’s still a lot of work needs to be done on handling, brakes, exterior and interior, but the team is off to a good start. The finished car will be revealed at the annual “ZDayZ” event.
