To raise public awareness about their new Volvo S60 Touring Car, Polestar released an animation showing the car in action. Well, virtual action. But it does give us a good look at the handsome racing car. The S60 TTA will compete in the Swedish Racing Elite League, featuring a race-tuned hybrid V6 engine with 420hp. In spite of the heavy aerodynamic body kit, the car is still recognizable as an S60, which is good for the production car’s reputation.

Polestar is tuning and motorsport arm of Volvo, kinda like what AMG is to Mercedes. Volvo Polestar Racing and Volvo Polestar Performance teams each will be fielding two S60 TTA race cars in the series. Driver lineup includes Robert Dahlgren, Fredrik Ekblom and Thed Björk, with the fourth one to be announced later.
