DMC, rather quietly this time, released the first teaser shots of its upcoming project based on the Aston Martin DBS. Called the DB-X Concept, the package is an extravagant piece of kit for the British GT and gives it a totally different look. DMC usually works on Lamborghinis only, but they seem to be branching out, first doing up Porsches, and now Astons.
We like DMC’s Lambos a lot, but we’re not sure about what they have in mind for the lovely Aston. It’s a concept and may change by the time they get around making it, but still. With new front and rear aprons, consisting of a new front intake tha joins up with the grille, a mad vented grille, roof scoop (on an Aston for crying out loud), massive side skirts, a ginormous rear diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler – not to mention all the gold accents – there’s really not much to like about this proposal.
The renderings are done by Wildspeed.
