DMC has established itself as one of the world’s finest Lamborghini tuners. Their latest project is an old Murcielago – the first-gen 580 model – which they’ve turned into an LP700 by boosting its power output to 700 horsepower. LP700 nameplate, as you know, belongs to the Aventador. With the Aventador now having a long waiting list, the owners of the old Murci can get this package for their car and have fun with it until their Aventa arrives.
The body kit on this car is a mishmash of 640 and 670 models. It features redesigned front and rear bumper with integrated diffusers, the side skirts from the 640, and a newly designed rear spoiler. We have to say though, this is one of the best looking Murcielagos we’ve ever seen. The wheels are first-gen stock, but they’re finished in a dark shade for extra coolness.
Not that the standard V12 is silent or anything, but DMC has fitted this one with a sports end pipe system for a racing car sound. You can also order the DMC sport metallic catalytic converter if you want it to be off the hook. The engine meanwhile gets 12 unique single intake throttle plates – as seen in the picture below – and its injectors and crankshaft have been replaced with new, high-performance ones. The ECU is also remapped to handle the changes.
For the interior, DMC offers a fresh new look with carbon fiber and fine leathers.
