Capristo, the maker of unique exhausts systems for high-end luxury cars, has come up with a complete set of exhausts for the magnificent Ferrari 48 Italia. It’s not just the exhausts though. Going the extra mile, they’ve also lightened the car by replacing whatever they could with carbon fiber parts. So you get the extra power brought by new exhausts, and a couple of pounds less weight than before. Together they’ll make a big difference.

The completely bespoke exhaust system from the manifold right up to the tail pipe not only is lighter than the stock system, it also adds 30bhp to the output of the engine, simply by reducing pressure and enhancing the flow. The new exhaust system also features a 2×200 cell catalytic converter and is also valve-controlled.

As for the diet, Capristo has replaced the mirrors, door ledges, rear window end plate, the two front wings, hood lock casing, filler cap, diffuser, and rear fog light casings. that rear diffuser for example weighs only 2 kilograms which is astonishing. The carbon kit improves the car’s power to weight ratio. It is now 2,19kg/hp compared to the original 2,42kg/hp.
