You’re probably familiar with Inden Design’s package for the Mercedes SLS, and probably know that it’s not the finest tuned SLS there is. But that’s not important here. We’re here just to appreciate the beauty of this German sports car, enhanced by the presence of a beautiful German model. Some people say it’s a terrible cliche to use a model in a car photoshoot, but we don’t see why. What’s wrong with making things a little more interesting?

The model in these pictures is Katja Runiello – a photo model, dancer and actor – and those who watch RTL a lot almost certainly know her. As for the car, well, looking at it you’d agree it needed a model to accompany it, because the body is pretty much stock. There’s some aftermarket wheels – 21-inch finished in gloss black with Continental Sport Contact high performance tires – but they’re ugly.

Things are more interesting under the bonnet, where Inden has boosted the output from 570 to 623 horsepower. They’ve also used a new valve-controlled exhaust system so the SLS sounds even dirtier.
