The Pagoda is one of the most iconic versions of the Mercedes SL, and one of the most sought after models too. Which is why the Bulgarian tuner Vilner, who specializes in interiors, decided to work on one and create what they call the ‘Gentle Pagoda’. On the outside the car is pretty much stock, apart from the unique paintjob, and there’s no body kit messing the beautiful lines of the Pagoda.

It’s a different story inside the cabin.

As mentioned Vilner is an interior specialist, and on the evidence of what you see here, they’re bloody good at what they do. They have revamped the whole cabin with a new dark and light brown theme to match the exterior. You get chocolate brown leather with diamond pattern stitching on the seats, and the same material and the same pattern everywhere else you look, although the color turns to light and creamy.

That makes a nice contrast and also makes you feel you’re sitting inside a chocolate chip cupcake.

You get leather on the dashboard, the seats, the door panels, and on the center console. The treatment continues inside the trunk, where even the spare wheels is covered with a leather bag. We have to admit we like this Pagoda way more than a brand-new 2013 Mercedes SL.
