Well, looks like this C63 AMG studio edition is not the only special AMG Merc Japan is getting. The Germans are also preparing a unique version of the SLS supercar for that country. The Mercedes SLS AMG Matt Edition, as the name suggests, comes with a matt paint job in black or white, and is available as both coupe and roadster. These models follow the Matt Black SLS Coupe released last year.

So, features. The Black SLS comes with designo Magno Night black body complemented with red parts including the front grille, side vents, bonnet fins, fuel filler cap, and AMG emblems. The black wheels also get a red outer lip to match the overall theme. As for the interior, you get red red leather upholstery with black detailing and Nappa leather across the dashboard and door panels.

The matte white SLS meanwhile trades the red parts for matt black ones, which in our opinion look much cooler. So you get an all-white body, with blacked-out grille, side vents, wing mirrors, fins, and filler cap. The wheels are finished in black as well. The interior on this one is finished in Magno Cashmere with black accents.

All models – each limited to five units only – benefit from the new AMG suspension and ride control system.
