For those who may not know what’s this all about, earlier this month Mercedes-Benz UK came up with a challenge to see if they can catch a golf ball in a moving car. So they picked professional golfer Jake Shepherd, former F1 driver and AMG ambassador David Coulthard, and a Mercedes SLS Roadster. With this great package at hand they managed to accomplish the goal in the second attempt, setting a world record.

They promised to release the film later on, and here we have it. it’s a fairly remarkable achievement. Shepherd hit a golf ball at 178mph into the Mercedes-Benz supercar, which was moving at a rate of120mph when it caught the ball 275 metres away from the tee. The amazing feat was not only caught on camera, but also independently verified by a Guinness World Record adjudicator as the farthest golf shot caught in a moving car.

And here’s the catch from a couple of different angles.
