The current Mercedes CLS is fine, but we prefer the old one. It was such a trend setter and – at least to our eye – much more handsome than the new model, which looks like a tropical fruit. Looks like we’re not the only fans of the old girl, because for its new project with PUR wheels, SR Auto went for the last-gen CLS, and a powerful CLS63 AMG version no less.

The car has received a big front lip and LED DRL systems, and a superb matte gray paint job complemented by blacked-out grille and surrounds. The grey paint is cool, but we’re not so sure about the mascara around the car’s headlights. That, to be honest, is a bit too much. The highlight of this car is the PUR 4OUR monoblocks wheels set finished in high gloss black. They look fabulous and also work really well with the red brake calipers.
