Although we had it in the news that Bentley’s officials are not satisfied with the looks of the EXP 9 F – or simply put the Bentley SUV – and looking for an alternative design, they brought the car to the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed and now released new images of the car. Why would they do that if they are just going to bin it?

Well, Bentley says these materials, and the Goodwood presence, are all part of a systematic and comprehensive process of gauging customer and public reaction to the EXP. The thing is, they don’t need a systematic approach to know what people think of this car. They just need to browse the web briefly and read the public’s comments. That said, it’s not the public’s view Bentley is interested in, but the view of a small group that pay for their cars. If they like it, it’s a job well done.

Save the looks, this EXP thing can be considered a proper Bentley SUV, a car with contemporary, crafted luxury, advanced technology, commanding driving position and all-terrain capability.
