The next Mercedes S Class, as we learned from looking at spyshots and leaked images, is going to feature a more retro-classic look than the current gen type W221. But before that arrives Mercedes tuner MEC Design decided to apply a same sort of theme on the current car. They’ve got a bit carried away though. What they’ve ended up with is the most gangsta-looking S-Class we’ve ever seen.

The MEC mecxtremeI 3 piece wheels contribute greatly to the style of the car. They feature outer lip in black gloss finish and center in black silk finish, and measure at 10 x 21 (3,5″ outer lip) and 11 x 21 (4,5″ outer lip) front and rear respectively, with 255/30ZR21 tires at front and 295/25ZR21 at the back.

The wheels are complemented by MEC Design Electronic Lowering System (ELS), that reduce up to 60mm from the ride height. Don’t expect to get the same supple ride as the standard S-Class, but this combination of wheels and lowering looks fantastic.

Other mods include a set of MEC Design 4-Pipe Stainless Steel Exhaust System for AMG packet – the Earthquake version, Piano black interior trims on the steering wheels, door panels, consoles and dashboard, MEC sport steering wheel and badged floor mats with special edging.

What needs to be point out here is that this car only works in this deep black exterior color with blacked-out grilles and what not. It just wouldn’t look so mean in any other color.
