Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake at “Night of the Stars”

The new Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake made its world premiere as part of the “Night of the Stars” party Mercedes threw on the eve of the Hockenheim F1 Grand Prix. It was bascially a fashion show (Mercedes is deeply involved in the fashion business) with all the companies racing starts in Formula 1 and DTM. The special CLS SB on display had an engine partly assembled by Schumacher and Rosberg.

The Edition 1 CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake was presented by  AMG brand ambassadors David Coulthard and Mika Hakkinen, and stayed on the stage for the catwalk session. It was not the only AMG car on the scene though. AMG boss Ola Källenius had also brought along the new SLK55, the G63 AMG, the all-new Mercedes A-Class 250 Sport, and the SL65 45th anniversary edition.

Ralf Schumacher, Gary Paffett, Jamie Green and Susie Wolff were among the other DTM drivers who drove the cars onto the stage.

The Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting brake which combines practicality of a family estate with joys of a full-on sports car, runs for €117,512 apiece. The more exclusive Edition 1 you see here, is priced at €128,639.
