Kia has prepared a new version of its Carens, the rather big compact MPV, and will introduce it to the world at this year’s Paris Motor Show in September. They are not yet ready to unveil the car, but they released these teaser shots of it, which are enough to realize the new Carens is far better looking than the car it replaces.
The Carens is designed around a ‘Dynamic Space’ theme, and features sleek, cab-forward design, lower roofline, longer wheelbase, larger wheels and chrome beltline accent. Almost all new Kias have fillow this recipe in design. A few days ago they released teasers of the new Cerato/Forte, and its headlights, taillights and grille are very similar to this one. Not that we’re complaining. It’s a fine design.
The Carens is not just about striking looks though. Kia promises it also excels at spaciousness and practicality.
