Before sending the current version of R8 on its way and replacing it with the new sleeker 2013 version, Audi decided to launch a series of limited R8 models called Exclusive Selection. The lineup will include twenty 2012 Audi R8 V8 models and thirty R8 V10s, all of them for the U.S. market.

Both versions gets exclusive visual features and interior appointments, but performance remains unchanged.

The R8 V8 models in this Selection feature Daytona Gray matte exterior, carbon fiber exterior splitter and diffuser, 19” titanium five-arm double spoke wheels, black grille surround, black exhaust finishers, R8 GT tail lamps, and red brake calipers. Interior highlights include leather package with Crimson Red elements and contrast stitching, exclusive leather Navigation surround, and a thicker contoured leather multifunctional steering wheel for a sportier grip.

Other features of this 430-hp car include carbon Fiber elements, Bang & Olufsen Sound System and Navigation with the Audi Music Interface.

As for the V10 model, the exterior features Ibis white exterior and Brilliant Black features – including the sideblade, exterior mirrors, and rear license plate surround – as well as R8 GT tail lamps and 19” bi-color e-tron wheels. Inside the car you get Ibis finishes and Alabaster White contrast stitching, as well as a Carbon Fiber monoposto driver’s cockpit.

Extra features on this 525-hp super car include leather Navigation surround and contoured steering wheel.
