Here’s your first chance to take a close look at the new Audi R8. It’s only been announced two weeks ago and it won’t hit the stores for at least a couple of months – at least not until Audi sells their special Selection Edition models. This gorgeous black V10 Spyder has been spotted in Italy. We have to say, the new LED lights and small changes in the bumper do make a big difference in the way the R8 looks.

The car also sounds very lovely. Can’t wait to hear the 550 horsepower R8 V10 Plus.

The new Audi R8 will roll off the line to European customers at the end of 2012. The base price is EUR 113,500 for the V8 Coupe, and EUR 124,800 for the Spyder. The V10 variants are listed at EUR 154,600 and EUR 165,900 respectively, while the Audi R8 V10 plus costs EUR 173,200.
